Construction

GNET Corporation highly recommends usage of our flexible heating covers for construction projects to cut cycle time and costs of power needed.  Flexible heating covers can be used for heating ground, subsoil, sand, and casing concrete.  GNET Corporation products for construction jobs are successfully used since November of 2007 in many regions of Russian Federation from Moscow to Siberia and Arctic Region by many construction companies.

Concrete has to have certain temperature and humidity conditions to form an optimal structure while hardening.  Flexible heating covers represent most efficient and economical way to treat concrete during casing.  They can be used as wrapping for columns, covering walls (for 40-50% strength required), and for faster heating of concrete at low temperatures.  In some geographical areas heating might be needed in summer time.

Flexible heating covers are manufactured from pre-programed electric heating cloth coated in insulation and protective layers, including water, liquid and oil-resistant ones to guarantee performance and safety.  These products are TUV and ROSTEST compliant, and certification for UL499 compliance started  November, 2010.

Design stage includes calculating power needed, voltage, amperage, dimensions, and places for hooking and/or connecting. Voltage can very from 55V to 220V, power from 400Watt to 2000Watt. Surface temperature can be +50/+80°C. Power consumption to heat one square meter of concrete 20cm thick is from 2 to 2.5KWT/hour. Sizes very from 3by1 meters to 2by6, 2by1, or 2,5by0.4 meters. Thickness is 4cm. Other sizes are available per request.  Only 4 to 5 minutes needed to heat flexible heating cover to preset temperature.  Works uninterrupted in compliance with Building Code requirements, or as needed.

Flexible heating cover is never put on fresh concrete to avoid sticking, getting soiled or damaged.  Concrete is first covered by layer of polymeric wrap, and then flexible heating cover is placed on top or wrapped around, or hanged against.  If concrete hardened, then flexible heating cover can be placed in direct contact.

Construction site tests shown high accuracy of distributing and keeping an equal temperature through the entire concrete structure heated with our flexible heated cover.

Flexible heating covers  benefits for construction projects:

allow to cut construction cycle time needed make casing faster and less labor-intensive eliminate freezing of concrete and guarantee optimal structure formation as an essential element of quality construction process quality construction at  0 °C for as low as -60 °C.
