Heating covers and flexitank heating covers, thermal boxes of various power and design options are used to heat containers, tanks and drums while transporting and/or storing oils, technical water and wide range of chemical agents and composites. Main reason is to keep substances in an optimal condition for discharge, and, if needed, to avoid freezing. Sometimes heating is needed just to expedite discharge.
Our design allows for flexibility in positioning heating products against container/tank/drum – sides, sides and bottom, top and sides, or wrapping around, and all our products are manufactured to work for up to 50,000 hours (6 years) of uninterrupted work. Heating cover typically consists of the following parts: shell, thermal insulator (10-100mm), heating element (950x850mm), heating switch, pocket for temperature sensor, temperature sensor, power supply cable, where nominal power can be from 200Wt to 2KWt per square meter. Depending on customer's specifications, size and shape can be designed to fit customer's needs in a best possible way.
Flexitank Heating Covers are typically of the following dimensions and technical characteristics:
- Dimensions – 6000(5000, 4000, 3000, 2000)х1000х20mm;
- Nominal Electrical Power – от 1 до 15KWt
- Nominal Voltage – 110, 220, 380, 460 V, one or three-phase alternate current.It is possible to design and manufacture low voltage – 12, 24, 36,48V direct current heating products per customer's request.
4.Temperature on the surface of the heating cover is typically from 40 to 70°С, with an option to adjust up or down via Control & Display Unit if needed when heat absorbing substance inside tank/container/drum reaches the preset temperature. It is necessary to assure constant contact between heating cover and heat absorbing container/tank/drum while heating.
Thermal boxes are designed to heat drums on a palette. Typical size and technical characteristics for 4-drums palette heating box are: dimensions - 1500х1500х1000mm; nominal electrical power from 2 to10KWt; temperature inside thermal box 40-60°С, with an option to adjust up or down via Control & Display Unit.
